Dr. Mocanu is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is treating me for a kidney condition and has been incredibly accessible and invested in my treatment plan. She has also been proactive about other health related concerns, despite the fact that they are not directly related to my kidney issue. Dr Mocanu is knowledgeable, patient, and a good listener. My first encounter with Dr Mocanu was on 8/20/26 and she was amazing. When I arrived she had all my lab work and all other test findings that other doctors had requested. She went over all the findings, one by one. She is clear and confident in her approach. She was patient, listened and tended to all my thoughts, questions and needs. She explained, in detail, of my health condition and what steps needed to be taken for my well being. Knowledgeable, conscientious doctor. She has no office staff. The office isn't synced with lab corps so scheduling testing is more complicated. She does her own scheduling sometimes without consulting patients.

Dr. Mocanu is absolutely amazing. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She was able to get us in right away and has been performing what feel like miracles ever since. My elderly father has resistant hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and several other medical issues. He had seen multiple physicians, and despite different medication regimens, his blood pressure remained uncontrolled and ultimately led to a hospital admission. Before even meeting us, Dr. Mocanu thoroughly reviewed my father's chart and picked up on several important details in his prior testing that had previously been overlooked. She spent an incredible amount of time explaining his disease processes in a clear and thoughtful way, walked us through her reasoning for each medication change, cited relevant medical literature, and made sure we truly understood the plan. What truly sets her apart is what happened next — she stayed closely in touch with us, checking in regularly and making thoughtful medication adjustments as needed. I was found to have reduced kidney function by my annual routine blood tests. My PCP was stumped and sent me to Dr. Mocanu. I was able to get an appointment promptly and had a detailed evaluation. She was able to expedite the testing and walked me through each result to develop the diagnosis and treatment plan. She has always answered all of my questions with detailed and evidence based information. I am well on my way to better health and not only improved my kidney scores, but improved my blood pressure and lost weight! She is the most patient and caring doctor that I have ever encountered in my many years in health care.
